When I was in elementary school, one year I got quite ambitious and decided to make fabric treat-filled bags for everyone in my class instead of giving them store-bought paper valentines. I spent hours at my mom's sewing machine handling the little squares of red-and-white striped fabric, endlessly turning corners and cutting threads.
While I did learn how to sew a mean straight stitch, if I had a grownup equivalent to an elementary class Valentine's Day party this year, I would make
